I really like this slam poetry video . I'm sad that it's always after death that these things are realized.

She does a really great job of expressing her feelings ... as you said, "always after death that these things are realized". She list the things she knew of him and regrets that she never knew him.
Doesn't that hold true for so many of us? We're alive in a world filled with people who don't know what we feel, what we think, what we dream about - and keep those thoughts hidden from the world.
