Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 05-20-2018 I think I'll use a topic to share with you all the donations I've received toward support of the forum. I'll not 'credit' the person who donated, oftentimes I don't really know. I see a donation come into PayPal and I don't recognize the email or the name of the donor ... the initials are the name of the user making the donation. Thank You!!
For those who are wondering, this is what it cost me to keep CSS up for another year. Yes, your donations are very much appreciated!
Updated: 07/28/22 If you'd like to help, the donate button can be found on the Landing Page RE: Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 08-23-2018 A US$20 donation from SA, thank you! RE: Donations to run the forum - UnicornSmudge - 08-23-2018 Thank you for putting this here and in a positive way. I plan on donating when I am hired somewhere, hopefully soon! This has been a very helpful place to me and I'd like to show support as well. RE: Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 09-28-2018 A $20.00 donation from ZL ... thank you, whoever you are. RE: Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 09-29-2018 A $10.00 donation from SU ... Thank You! ( and I know who you are, so 'thanks!!' ) RE: Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 11-19-2018 Hosting comes due again in April ... since it all comes out of my bank account and, with one exception when NightSong covered it for me, donations seem to be small so I just dump them into my paypal account. As long as I'm alive and as long as I have the money available the site will be here. But I agree, it'd be great if someone could wave a magic wand and make all the troubles of the world disappear. I'm looking at having some work done on my hands (dupuytrans contraction) but I'm having a hard time justifying the trip 300 miles up the road to have it done. Midland is an oil town and the cheapest room I can find, since I have to stay overnight, is in the $200 range. Room, gas and food and that begins to suck!! Have you tried air n b? RE: Donations to run the forum - Dragon - 12-22-2018 Whoever you are, RY thank you so very much. Do you mind a "Merry Christmas"? You just helped mine!! @Lurker.In.The.Night You know, that's disgusting. I have a reservation set with a nearby Motel for the 9th and taking a clue from your suggestion I looked and the Air BnB are a lot cheaper - they are also booked solid!!
