Yes, I am putting this in the announcement section because I feel that it is an announcement. Our fearless leader (who didn't exactly want the role of leader) @Dragon passed away peacefully in his sleep a few weeks ago. The information is fairly recent because he lived alone and @nightsong hadn't heard from him, so she called in a wellness check and was informed by the police (sheriff?) (feel free to fix it @nightsong) and was informed about his passing. Hopefully we will have more information soon, but hard telling since we didn't know his family members. If y'all are on discord and need to talk about it, pop in there. Dragon was a great man and hopefully he is up in heaven hanging out with his water brother @siasl. If anyone has any memories they want to share here, go ahead and do so.

I am deeply saddened by Dragon's passing. Thank you for making a post, Jennilynne. Sorry I haven't been around much, guys. I was pretty upset the day I heard but haven't had time or capacity to come be in community. How are y'all holding up? I will miss Dragon's presence, his elderly wisdom, his sometimes cranky comments (probably those the most lol), and the updates about his animals and the desert. RIP, Dragon. You made it through without even catching the bus.
