Do we go out
Like a light?
Or is it painful--
Like a fight?
Is there a light
In a distant hall?
Or is it black
Like a nighttime fall?
Will it hurt me,
Like a needle stick?
Or will i feel nauseous,
Like being sick?
I know not
The answers here,
But I hope to find them
Beyond the fear.
