I don't upload these movies to my site, but link to them from various sources, but one site you can download all you want it archives.org. most are mp4's or .avi, but not in DVD format, but there are plenty of free DVD formatting programs available. A quick google search will aim you to the proper DVD program(s). You can save them as mp4's which is one of the smallest file formats, load them all on DVD's or CDs then watch using a program called VLC media player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ which is cross platform and will show many different formats plus movies with captions or subtitles.. If you download foreign movies with subtitles they are separate files most times.. Rename one or the other, the mp4 and the subtitle file so they both have the same name and are in the same folder.. example .. movie.mp4 and subtitle file, say movie-a.srt you would rename movie-a.srt to movie.srt, load them into VLC and you can watch the movie with subtitles..
Most decent movies requiring subtitles have links to the subtitle files..IF you watch subtitled movies at all. I like both..I thought I would toss that info in just in case..
Anyway, go to http://www.archive.org/details/feature_films and you'll find several thousand movies of all kinds to download free.
Now you know my primary source. :o
Just dont tell the whole world. LOL
