A poem I'd like to share

I read this post when it was first posted but never commented, something that I now realize I should have done. I like this poem a lot. It definitely resonates with me as I reread it and I can understand where your coming from @UnicornSmudge. I find that some of my best poetry comes from when I feel something, that moment when you harness the emotional rollercoaster and put it to paper. I don't know if it's the same for you but just rereading this has made me decide to share a few of my poems on here. Hopefully you find time to write more, I think you definitely have the talent.
