Abzilla got herself into trouble
#1
Abzilla listened to the voices in her head last night, and spent the night in the hospital. She narrowly escaped being certified under the mental health act; the doctor only let Abzilla go this afternoon because her husband was willing to take time off work to stay home with her for the next few days. Otherwise Abzilla would be in the locked room in the local hospital right now waiting for a psych ward bed.

Abzilla feels sorry for her long-suffering DH but is so grateful to him for getting her out of hospital. Abzilla's voices still aren't quiet though. Sad

Abzilla hasn't posted in the third person section before and hopes she got it right!

Abzilla did a good job posting in the third person. While, one the one hand the Dragon thinks, it's a fun section, he also knows that it can be helpful when we want to talk about things that are difficult to talk about in the first person.

The dragon's having and interesting day .... the worst of which is that he's binge watching a kiddie series.

The Dragon is right, Abzilla finds it easier to tell this story in the third person.

Abzilla is also curious, what kiddie series is the Dragon binge watching?

It's an Amazon production called "Just Add Magic" - absolutely silly but the three girls who are the main characters are good at what they do and the story line, while not believable, is actually a story line.

The Dragon, BTW, is pleased that your DH was amenable to 'baby-sitting' an ailing spouse. The Dragon has used the "I've always been too busy to work at maintaining a relationship." In reality, he thinks it's more the simple inability to maintain a relationship, the work was just an excuse for simple anti-social tendencies." So seeing that your DH is there when you need him, pleases the Dragon immensely.

LITN thinks that sometimes the voices must get too overpowering. Has Abzilla found a way to help calm those voices down so only she is in her brain? How is Abzilla feeling now?

LITN, Abzilla thanks you for your post. She is conflicted about making the voices go away because they are friendly and helpful and make her feel better. But they hurt Abzilla's DH emotionally through Abzilla following their instructions, and she doesn't like that.

Abzilla has had a pretty good day up until just a short time ago - she confessed to her DH that the voices are making a new plan and now he is frustrated with Abzilla, even if he won't admit it. It is hard for people who aren't in Abzilla's head to understand.

To be honest LITN thinks it is hard for people to understand what's in other people's head in any circumstance. LITN thinks people are very locked into their own existence and that is the Ultimate Truth™ according to them.

Abzilla has an appointment with her GP today as a follow up from Friday night's incident. Abzilla is worried.  Sad She hopes her Dr will say her DH can go back to work and life can go back to normal, but is scared he'll have a different plan.

Abzilla needs to stop worrying about things that are outside her control! Confused  Tongue

But ... but ... but ... the Dragon has to wonder when life with Abzilla has ever been normal << tease >> Since both you and hubby are, probably, happiest when he's working (well, an income does come in handy) the dragon also hopes that your DH can go back to bringing home the bacon.

As a footnote, the Dragon has also found that legitimate concerns are worth considering, worrying is a real waste of energy but it also seems to be a real part of human nature.
