Hey, I don't exactly know what you mean, but it sounds somehow crazy and fun
Could you explain your idea a bit more detailed? I enjoy making music, even though I'm not that good

I just thought that we could make amateur music more or less the same way we make amateur stories: somebody could lay down a track, upload the file (you would need to know how to zip up a folder, but that's easy), someone else could download it and lay down another track, reupload it, etc. and it would be almost like a virtual jam session.
It might be fun. We won't know if we never try it.

I can hardly imagine it, but it sounds fun somehow... Would you use real instruments and record it or produce it somehow technically?

Not sure if it's just me, but it didn't work for me. I unpacked the zip / tar.gz and opened it with several programs, but both of the songs were just noisy and sounded like a swoosh. I tried to listen to it using Audacity and Amarok and vlc.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey don't worry
l will probably play something and record it in the next days. I can play the guitar on a beginner's level and my singing isn't great, but since I'm rather anonymous around here ...
