On the Subject Of Human Worth
#1
There's a lot of talk around my house these days about death; its; meaning, or the lack of it; what our real worth is; do we matter.
Some of what I read here strikes the same chord.
We are all worth it! Every one of us matters! We make a difference! Don't let that voice who lives inside your head- you know who I mean- tell you differently.
We are love.

  ON THE SUBJECT OF HUMAN WORTH

We are all worth
every pain and dis-ease,
every blindness and illegal gain.

We are worth every terror,
every violence and pitiless rage;
every arrogant confusion
and ignorant desire;

every hope every joy every heart
that we set apart for cheap hire.

And we are worth every grace,

because we are the mad crazy wild
disheveled face of God's every child

inevitably ,
generously,
ignominiously,
gloriously born,
to be scorned from below to above ;
pushed down and shoved ,
scraped bleeding and raw
then licked for a prize
off the sick jaws of hate .

But...

always we rise
neither too soon,
nor too late .

See! Here we rise now .

Listen.

We are here.

Our Truth name is

LOVE.
