The Weight
#1
With my dull knife
I etched
a notch in the cord.
Slowly, painfully
I carved away
the trust
exposing the hurt beneath.
The weight on the other end
proved to be too much,
straining
until finally,
with a groan,
the
cord
snapped.
That is not dead which can eternal lie,<br />And with strange aeons even death may die.

The Eleventh Doctor: Nobody important? Blimey, that's amazing. You know that in nine hundred years of time and space and I've never met anybody who wasn't important before.
